Sports in Kansas All-Classes Pitcher of the Year: Michael Winter of Shawnee Mission East (6A). Talk about an incredible year for the Dartmouth signee. He struck out 97 batters in 62.2 innings pitched with a 0.22 ERA (7-0 record). He walked only four batters and allowed just two runs all season. One of the best seasons in Kansas history 👏 and did it in the states best league (SFL, along with the EKL). Winter has a fastball that ranges 90-93 and tops at 95. #sportsinkansas
