All hail @PrivateEyeNews
Brilliant story about how one of the proposed new owners of Thames Water is offering up a £25 million "Community Benefit Trust" (CBT) to "support" local environment and community groups but only on condition that TW are exempt from environment law and any threat of prosecution for at least the next 5 years.
In other words we'll pay a £25 million bribe to local river groups and charities to shut them up, it's hush money, it's blood money, it's a bride.
The Evenlode Catchment Partnership (ECP) knows better of course, they've already handed back £135K to Thames Water after they realised they were simply been used and the only people benefiting from the arrangement was Thames Water.
Other river charities would do well to follow ECP's example, don't accept the hush money, don't accept the blood money, it is after all nothing more than a bribe.

People seem to have forgotten the two massive spikes in oil trading, one on 23 March, immediately before Donald Trump’s post announcing a delay in attacks on Iran’s energy infrastructure, and the other on 7 April when he declared a ceasefire. Investors made something like $1.5 billion. But were these a genuine huge gamble, or was it insider trading — a serious criminal offence in the US?

"Britain is building a culture where people think they can do what they like and nothing will happen."

Kemi Badenoch@KemiBadenoch
Britain is building a culture where people think they can do what they like and nothing will happen. All too often, they’re right. Crime, disorder and welfare dependency all point to the same problem: a country where rules exist, but no consequences follow. We must change this.

Gabriel's write-up in the Sunday Times. Note his numbers are a bit smaller because we did some further analysis into additional dividends after the paper went to press.
We've very confident in our numbers.

Exclusive: Richard Tice’s company broke the law by failing to pay tens of thousands of pounds in tax on dividends that were paid to him and his offshore trust. He received at least £91,000 in excess payments as a result of the failure. thetimes.com/uk/politics/ar…

@TiceRichard @IsabelOakeshott Now ask the Sunday Times to do the same exercise with the company run by Rupert Lowe and Ashaka Murty (aka Sunaks wife) which received £663k in furlough payments before going into administration owing £6m to HMRC.

@TiceRichard You mercilessly attacked Angela Rayner for less. Surely you should resign Dickie?
