Looking back over the Endeavour River after learning so much on the Country Universities Centre’s Cape York Study Tour in Cooktown. A wonderful, immersive experience, including spending time in Hopevale, to better understand the needs of students living in remote areas.

My Dad celebrated his 97th birthday today and I thought I would share a couple of photos of the oldest and youngest members of our family. Despite the 94 year age difference, their conversations and interactions are pure gold. Happy Birthday Dad 💕

So enjoyed being part of the @CQU delegation attending the Fulbright Awards this evening at Parliament House. A wonderful celebration of 75 years of Australian American Fulbright Scholars - increasing cultural understanding, collaboration and the exchange of ideas.

Wonderful to have Emeritus Professor @HelenHuntly back on the stage with us at @CQU’s Bundaberg Graduation today. 247 graduates, including much-needed nurses, teachers, accountants, lawyers, engineers, paramedics, social workers, physiotherapists &OTs. #regionalworkforce

Gladstone Graduation today. @CQU, we love celebrating student success and the valued role educators play in assisting our students succeed. Staff from our enabling course, STEPS, had every reason to smile - they provided many students with the key skills for University success.👏

Exciting to have Jodie Duignan-George appointed as the Head of our @CQU Townsville campus, in her extended leadership role as Associate Vice-President North and Far North Queensland. I enjoyed attending her first community event in the role last night-the Mayor’s Christmas Appeal

Travelling for work, I see all sorts of views from accommodation-carparks, brick walls, painted on vistas hidden behind curtains(only happened once), to mountains &skylines but my favourite view is the wallaby families @ Capricornia College at our CQUniversity Rockhampton campus

The Queensland Training Awards (Central QLD) were held in Mackay last night & @CQU’s Stacey Mason won Vocational Student of the Year. Stacey studied a Diploma of Nursing through @CQU and is now employed at the Rockhampton Hospital. Congratulations Stacey -a most deserving winner!

Enjoyed representing @CQU at The Premier’s Women on Boards event in Cairns this morning. This was the 6th Women on Boards event hosted by the Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk to advance the conversation about gender parity in boardrooms across Queensland. #getonboardsqld
