I would like to see us use Section 226 of the B.C Community Charter which provides the authority for local governments to provide 10-year property tax waivers for public and non-market affordable rental housing.

The township of Langley has a housing crisis yet the township requires those who legally rent out their secondary suite to pay a $350 license fee. How does this help the crisis? If elected who will scrap this fee? @BlairWhitmarsh @colemancountry @MichelleSparrow @ericwoodward
