@TurtonJ1990 @ruth_mottram Yea, surprisingly, my COVID test results, which I sent from NI to England, got back to me very quickly. But in terms of private testing here, we only have one provider so have to pay premium price for private #COVID19 tests which is insane.

Many models, many many experiments, and many many many ensemble members. More than one realisation of the real world would have been very helpful - if only that existed, hey @Michelle_McCrys!

My new paper with @polar_james is finally published and using many, many models shows that there is no robust teleconnection in winter temperatures between ENSO and the Arctic (Barents and Kara Seas) agupubs.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/abs/10.102…

📰New paper on tropical 🐠 to Arctic 🐻‍❄️ teleconnections led by @Michelle_McCrys. We conclude that the observed correlation between ENSO and Arctic (Barents-Kara Sea) winter temperature is not robust, and may be fortuitous. agupubs.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.10…

Just finished recording my presentation for Arctic Change (@ArcticNet) this December. Lots of outtakes, frustration and cursing, but recording, watching, revising and re-recording made for a way better presentation. Here's one where I stumbled right out of the gate 🙃
