It’s #WildCardWednesday! While the MGCB initially focused on overseeing Detroit's commercial casinos, our authority has expanded over the years. It now regulates a wide range of gaming activities, including charitable gaming, and online gaming and sports betting.

Regulated gaming provides player protection and rigorous internal controls and independent laboratory testing of gaming machines. The MGCB works closely with local law enforcement agencies to investigate alleged illegal gambling locations, which do not provide the protections associated with legal gaming and can bring unwanted crime to neighborhoods. Citizens can call our tip line at 888-314-2682 to anonymously report alleged illegal machines.

Eligible 501(c)(3) booster organizations can earn up to $4,000 by sharing MGCB-approved messaging that promotes smart decision-making and protects Michigan youth from growing gambling influences.
