Thanks to Robert of @SenStabenow's office for meeting with @MichiganPTA1 to discuss our #PTALegCon priorities. We have a real opportunity to ensure any "return to school" legislation gives ALL children throughout Michigan every opportunity to reach their full potential!

In partnership with Marcy Dwyer, the V.P. of Children’s Advocacy and the Children’s Advocacy committee members, the FedLeg Chair will advocate and disseminate information related to K-12 public education and children’s advocacy issues happening at the federal level to MI PTA.

She began her path to FedLeg Chair through various positions at the local PTA level: as co-chair of Northville PTA Advocacy in 2018 and then chair in 2019. Meyer also currently serves on the Michigan PTA Board of Directors and the Northville League of Women Voters Board.

Carin Meyer appointed as new Federal Legislative Chair for Michigan PTA. The Michigan PTA Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Carin Meyer has been appointed as their new Federal Legislative (FedLeg) Chair.
