The "Shoeman" dark web theory is a 2025 TikTok viral series/ARG by WWE wrestler Shiloh Hill. He claimed he found a creepy .onion site called "The Shoeman: Keeper of Soles" selling used shoes—each listed with a name + age (implying murder victims), many bloodstained or damaged. He ordered a pair of boots. They arrived with a disturbing VHS tape. He tested the stains (luminol glowed—possible real blood). Cutting the heel revealed a blinking GPS/cellular tracker chip that pinged a phone number. He called it; got weird replies. More "unordered" packages followed. Yes, the guy (Hill) really ordered shoes, tested them, and found a tracker. No, he didn't screw up—he specifically shipped to a PO Box (repeatedly said he was "glad" he did). Later packages hit his apartment only after he canceled the PO Box. Most now call the whole saga staged horror content for views, not a true dark web incident.
