We’re told floor crossing isn’t undemocratic because citizens vote for a person and not a party.
I wholeheartedly disagree as the vast majority vote for a party and simply choose the person on the ballot who represents said party.
If you aren’t voting for a party and actually the person then why is that person kicked out of the party if they vote against what the party proposes?

Most rural voters are conservative and in Alberta if it weren’t for these rural voters we’d currently have an NDP government.
The only way to change conservative provinces like Alberta is to swarm rural areas with immigrants who will dilute the conservative vote.
