@MickFoley76 The Dingle jerseys came from a Cork set that were down wrong, I believe The lady who was doing them was told red and white trim and did a white band instead

The man who collected Cork's new red jersey in 1919 from the Temperance Hall on Barrack St, who proposed the National Leagues at Congress and suggested the naming of Cusack Stand. As administrators went, he got game. All these nuggets and more at @over

His nephew, the great Con Murphy who won 4 All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championships with Cork, followed in his footsteps and became the second @OfficialCorkGAA man to hold the prestigious office of President of the @officialgaa from 1976-1979.
