Op update. Hip is done! Took 4 hrs, longer than normal surgeon said it was the most deteriorated he’d ever seen. They’re keeping her in Intensive care to keep an eye on her. She’s chatting & is bright. Thanks for all the messages I will read them to her tomorrow 💙

@MickMackrell Couldn't believe it Mick when one of the lads had his portable radio on in Holte End and said that they said Liverpool fans had invaded the pitch..I asked what the score was and he said 0-0..I said no way they invade a pitch at 0-0.. Something has gone badly wrong there

I cant believe that a week ago right now I was gowned up ready to go down to theatre for the op on my lung.Iwas more scared than I had admitted to anyone.I had the feeling that i might not wake up.Thankfully 5 hours later I did.Everything went as expected and I’m recovering well
