Gatorade today announced David Lunn of Volcano Vista is the 2025-26 Gatorade New Mexico Boys Basketball Player of the Year. The 6-foot-4, 210-pound junior guard led the Hawks to a 26-5 record and their state record fifth consecutive Class 5A championship.

I'm curious to see how many international players playing in the US system will be on the World team. Would have loved to see Paul Osaruyi on the World team, as he's a top international underclassman. So I hope Sadler isn't the only Canadian.

In the end, St George's capitalized off of Caravel's turnovers. @JoshuaObiora08 and Elijah Coates put on a show with several rim rattling dunks as the Hawks pulled away. @YK_Quan21, Mike Sheehan, and Prince McKnight (despite foul trouble) all performed admirably in a loss. St George's Hawks are now off to their 2lnd consecutive DIAA final 4 a Bob Capenter Center.
