One of the reasons “consider 3rd attempt at thoracocentesis in 5th ICS MAL” - in Pre-Hospital care (particularly using the pneumofix) scares the absolute pants off me. Real possibility of causing catastrophic harm if landmarking and technique isn’t spot-on.

@AronJRoberts Definitely agree CRM needs to be further pushed in healthcare. Whilst it’s been in medicine for a few years following the sad EB case, there’s still a lot of work to do especially in the ambulance services. It’s part of our yearly currencies, should be the same for all HCP probs!

Had a great day earlier this week judging a sim at the 2nd @LJMUParaGames @LJMU this week. It was great to see the future of our profession working together in really tough scenarios! Thanks to the team for a warm welcome and I look forward to coming back next time!

Was great to see lots of friends from across the whole of @SJACymru at #ColdplayCardiff last night! A great team of Nurses, Paramedics and Doctors as well as a huge team of highly skilled first aiders. Thankfully got chance to see most of my favourite band too!
