Deltarune right now is in the "calm before the storm" part of its lifecycle, where people are starting to feel let down, because most of their expectations aren't being met. Some people, including myself, are a bit disappointed in the way the story is being handled. I don't like how little the main story has advanced in Chapter 5, despite how enjoyable it was. I don't like how Dess is being handled as a "haunting the narrative" device. I don't like how Berdly is still a joke. I don't like how clueless Noelle still is. (Chapter 6 could fix that) I don't like how Toby seems more focused on subverting expectations to get a reaction instead of telling the story. I don't like how we know there are only two chapters left, and we're still doing the "vagueposting king" gimmick in a story that has been in the works for eight years at this point. Chapter 3+4 is going to end up being considered the "Golden Age of Deltarune" in a few years. But Chapter 5 onwards? Only time will tell. But I expect a lot of discourse.

Is it cool to say I don’t like ‘In The Final’ as a boss theme I get its supposed to be thematic but like it sounds so lame to me
