Sam wasn't a Stab fan and most people watching Scream 5 didn't notice that that was Stu's house until Sidney mentioned it, just like Sam. Just watch reaction videos on YouTube, and you'll see. Mindy was probably the only person who would've known, but even if she knew, the movie wouldn't have let us know that before Sidney mentioned it, since it was a "plot twist".
