The keynote is Pam O’Donnell, of Catch You Later Foundation, started after Pam’s husband & daughter were killed by an impaired driver on the NJTP. Pam’s goal is to make everyone aware of the #77 service to report aggressive/erratic driving on the turnpike to help save lives.

This morning, I met up with a group of Campbell Elementary School families for its annual “Bike, Walk, Roll to School Day.” This particular group met up at the Metuchen Public Library and other groups formed at three other locations throughout the Borough, before walking and biking to school together. While Metuchen has become much more friendly to pedestrians and bicyclists over the last few years, there is still more we can do. Events like these demonstrate our community’s commitment to safe walking and rolling.
