We have been patrolling Middlewich today checking the local parks and areas which may be affected by Anti-Social Behaviour.

Police have arrested a 51-year-old man following an incident at a pub in Middlewich. We'd urge people not to speculate on here as there is an ongoing criminal investigation. More details here: orlo.uk/0lUoy

We're currently investigating a serious collision on Lewin Street last night involving a car and a cyclist. We can confirm the driver of the car did stop at the scene and speak to officers. If anyone has any information please contact us online quoting IML 1157575.

We are aware of a burglary which has occurred in the Middlewich area and are currently dealing with it. Please remember to lock windows, doors and not have anything of value on show.

We are out on patrol tonight checking all the ASB hotspot area. If anyone is seen causing ASB they shall be dealt with and their parents will be informed.

Be vigilant if you're drinking with strangers. When you go out for an evening you never know who you’re going to meet, so always keep your wits about you. If someone appears to be over-friendly and eager to get you to drink, be vigilant.

We have engaged with the caravan club in Cranage village hall today during their auction. It was great to see some Middlewich residents in attendance.

Spiking, where someone adds drugs or alcohol to another person’s drink without them knowing, is illegal. Some of the precautions you can take when out drinking are never losing sight of your drink, being vigilant if you're drinking with strangers and be a drink buddy.
