Back home now, I am on one hour of sleep, I fell back asleep as soon as I got back, but I only got another hour. I will be sleeping like a ROCK tonight hooooly I am tired. Though I'm okay, I got some stories to tell ya on Thursday when I do Just Chatting! I'm also going to open up the Blazing Dominion box I got too for Yugioh :D

RE: StreamElements The value of something you use for free becomes apparent very quickly when it's about to be taken away. Think about all the tools you use that were free to download and use. That software doesn't maintain itself.

The StreamElements situation is very confusing to me. If the financials are so bad that they're now on the brink of shutting down, why didn't they start taking a small percentage from donations years ago? It's a totally reasonable exchange considering everything else about the platform is free. Sure, they would have lost some of their users, but that's better than losing 100% of them.

People saying "all the free options are dead". You do know that people could've kept SE alive by supporting the platform that kept it free like the few who tried to keep the lights on. Problem is $300,000 cost to only get $642 of support clearly showed there was either a lack of communication/advertising to make that money back or people really didn't care to want to keep what they've been using for awhile now free. I don't know what the reason is but now they're doing their best to keep the whole system alive. Also props to the one random person who donated 2000 to them not that long ago.

I mean look what Wikipedia does. They were transparent and said "hey, we're free but we need your help keeping the lights on" right on the top of the page in a big banner with glaring colours that would make your eyes focus on that. Pisses me off because I've used them for YEARS and even if I give them money now I feel it's just going down a well more that it's going to them. I'm more worried who this is going to go to because they could completely ruin the site as well :[
