@HydeSynister Is tracing anime characters from the screen technically copyright infringement? Yes. Is the copyright holder going to prosecute? No. Is it real art? Also no. It’s just an early form of practice and mimicry, common behavior for children who see things they like and want more.

@M1das_OW2 The way demons are described in a few places (including their introduction) is eerily similar to how fascists describe racial out-groups, but the text doesn’t actually support that comparison beyond the surface level. Fascists, unable to read any deeper than that, love the show.

@CepixLCP Gooseworx did a whole series of animated shorts mocking common tropes in animated movies. Lame-ass finishing dance numbers leading into the credits is one of those obnoxious tropes. I seriously doubt The Amazing Digital Curcus will have the same kind of ending as The Emoji Movie

@tophz_ Masterpiece my ass. The dialogue and momentary editing was atrocious, the CG was underwhelming, and the dialogue was as stiff as the jokes were unfunny. It’s a passable watch, but not a masterpiece by any stretch. It belongs in the bargain bin with Nanny McPhee 2 and Dragon Wars.

The reason why you can never define woke is because they never accept the definition regardless of accuracy. Even here they'd say "So woke is just black people? 😏" They don't want a definition. They want a way to de-legitimize you and the idea.
