Extreme heat can be lethal, especially for our most vulnerable citizens. Call 311 and operators will provide cooling center locations, safety tips and info about warning signs for heat-related injury.

It’s so much trash on the streets downtown in my neighborhood of Mt. Vernon. I’m not used to it.

When we plant trees, we make sure to take care of them too! We want them to continue to grow big and strong to provide shade, pleasing visuals and lower energy bills during the hot summer months.
