It's important to make sure that your baby doesn't overheat when they're indoors. Make sure you remove their hat and outdoor layers when you get home to reduce the chance of this happening. Learn more about overheating 👇 lullabytrust.org.uk/safer-sleep-ad…

Hello, my name is Deb, I joined team Opal in October. I have worked at Birmingham Women’s Hospital and then as a community midwife in Kidderminster. I am keen to support women who wish to give birth at home. I am aromatherapy trained and always use essential oils at a home birth.

Your baby's sheet or blanket should be firmly tucked in and not placed higher than their shoulders. Place your baby on their back to sleep so that their feet are at the end of the cot, and avoid using soft or bulky bedding such as quilts, pillows and duvets.

Hi, I’m Eve, I have been a delivery suite and birth centre based midwife for 9 years. In Leeds I was briefly part of the home birth team. I am passionate about empowering women to achieve the birth experience they want, even when risk factors are present.

Hi I’m Lucy, I’ve been a midwife for over 10 years. My favourite thing about being a midwife is getting to know women and their families at this special time and support them through this amazing journey. I cannot wait to be part of this team and providing this continuity to you.
