Hello, my name is Deb, I joined team Opal in October. I have worked at Birmingham Women’s Hospital and then as a community midwife in Kidderminster. I am keen to support women who wish to give birth at home. I am aromatherapy trained and always use essential oils at a home birth.

Your baby's sheet or blanket should be firmly tucked in and not placed higher than their shoulders. Place your baby on their back to sleep so that their feet are at the end of the cot, and avoid using soft or bulky bedding such as quilts, pillows and duvets.

Hi, I’m Eve, I have been a delivery suite and birth centre based midwife for 9 years. In Leeds I was briefly part of the home birth team. I am passionate about empowering women to achieve the birth experience they want, even when risk factors are present.

Hi I’m Carlett. I have been a qualified Midwife for over 19 years. I want all women to be able to achieve the best maternity experience possible. I am passionate about Continuity of Carer and excited to be supporting women and their families throughout their maternity journey.
