Why are Nigeria girls making it hard to love them, should I just break up with this girl or not because I'm not understanding her again lately. 🤧

The last thing that these +234 babes will do is be considerate, is it a crime to love you guys ? 🤧💔

It's easy to look at Nigeria and say the electorate isn't democratically mature. But here's the truth: politics is personal everywhere. When people support a politician, they're thinking about what's in it for them, not what's in it for everyone else. That's not a Nigerian problem. That's a human one.
Influencers, by the way, aren't supposed to be able to influence your vote. Their job is to amplify. Yours is to think....Listen to the aspirants' actual messages. Examine their track records.....Then choose whoever resonates with you.
As for the Igbo business figures defecting to APC or supporting Tinubu, they're thinking about their families and businesses before they're thinking about you. And that's fine. Let them be. Why the insults? They're not your role models. They're not the saviours of the world. You still get to choose whoever you want.
And if you're an activist sitting in the middle, let's be honest about that too. You make your money from neutrality. People follow you because they believe you speak the truth. But in reality, that's your own clout game. Activists aren't fighting for you either. Everyone has an angle. The sooner you accept that, the freer you become. Move on.
And if your choice at the ballot is driven by tribe? So what. People play the identity card to win elections all over the world. Kamala Harris leaned into it. Trump leaned into it. Why is it suddenly a scandal when a Nigerian prefers to vote for someone solely because they are from their ethnic group? That is democracy. A professor and an illiterate both carry one vote each, and in a democracy, the so-called fool might actually be right. Competency claims are often subjective.
At the very top of the world's most "advanced" democracies, Elon Musk and George Soros back their preferred candidates in exchange for influence. That's how the game works everywhere. Live with it.
