@Merrydawg Speaking on Evercold part - it seems like it may be going in wow direction now for combat.... And healers may be forced into a similar scenario they are in wow, where majority of your gcds are healing now.

@Merrydawg Additionally, if the goal is to *only* play end game, it is highly arguable that the person in question probably does not care nor think they have the time to do MSQ and instead focuses on player (gearing) progression.

Honestly, if you don't care about story, and you just want to play an MMORPG that's focused entirely around endgame, then I'm not sure Final Fantasy XIV is for you. So much of it is about the journey, rather than the destination, like how classic RPG's used to be. If you just want endgame, which is fine, I'd honestly play World of Warcraft instead, instead of trying to push Final Fantasy XIV to be like World of Warcraft. We can have different games for different people. Final Fantasy XIV is about going on a long and slow journey of exploration, meeting and befriending both story characters and other players, and becoming attached to the world and its mysteries. So many of its most impactful and awe inducing moments are exactly because of that slow journey it took you to get there. And if that's not your you, again, that's okay. But you should probably find another game.

@SadClownTimes @Miyazono1006 @woops And to compensate for that most likely evolved will make their defensive stronger. Evolved will also give options to meet the same ending combo for some jobs by doing either ST or AOE opener like what was shown on the question mark tab of the preview.

@SadClownTimes @Miyazono1006 @woops All this does is reduce keybinds it doesn't change complexity in the slightest. It's like making macros or shift modifiers based off scenario (ally vs enemy) Unsure why evolved mode doesn't show stun though.

@Miyazono1006 @woops Right but that inherently makes it easier. You have fewer things to press, less complexity. You can even remove entire buffs it says to make others scale to match. I doubt they'll be adding new moves. It'll be interesting for sure.

The bonus roll timer HAS to be extended so it's longer than it takes for regular rolls to expire (to resolve ties/avoid people sitting on the roll until after the bonus timer expires and then winning the regular roll). It just enables griefing for no good reason.

@Hipposareneat It was 4k and commonly you only see people on your realm or shard in silver moon/outdoors - on top of it being an account wide title

ok people saying its 4k my point stands i shouldnt be seeing this title every day this is the most rare title in the game, theres only like 3 m+ titles with less players and r1 glad titles with less players seriously there is something wrong

I'm going to sound insane but i think the famed slayer title for the delve ++ boss is way more than 2k people and blizzard is just lying, i see this title daily on completely random people. there is no way i am seeing the same 2 thousand people in my region EVERY SINGLE DAY

@EvaliaVae @enragedregen @ilovehasty This is something it can do, as it's just fetching a value from bw/base encounter timeline. You can also do this *without* weakauras. NSRT also has a void expulsion timer built in under Encounter Alerts tab. Many options exist.

i have genuinely no clue how else i'm supposed to properly ramp for void expulsion without a weakaura

@allyparser 13 raid account lockouts. Allowing 13 characters(classes) available per difficulty. 13 splits is less than 20/25 😹 Issue is still apparent though if the race players just open up new bnet accounts (not wow accounts) Unless they make it specific toward ip or hardware

I hope Blizz figures a way to do diminishing returns for rwf guilds doing 20 characters for splits. I know this is an impossible ask without affecting the remaining player base… but not only was it miserable to watch, but I imagine the players did not have fun doing that.

RL for a US500ish guild here: ultimately this all changes nothing aside from seeing different environments as you progress. It makes it worse for downtime/breaks, like if you kill chimeraus not around your break time you lose raid night time traveling to a different raid
