Once Drake understands that he’s not and never will be Jaÿ-Z, and stops trying to position himself that way, maybe the music will start sounding authentic again. Right now, it feels like he’s playing a role that was never meant for him. If you were really built like Jaÿ-Z, you would’ve talked that talk on your very first album. At this point, you’re fighting a ghost. He should take notes from others instead who are paying hommage to the greats.
