Sources: The Chicago Bulls will add Rex Kalamian, Jonah Herscu, and Blake Ahearn as assistant coaches. Kalamian was an assistant coach for the Bucks, Pistons, Kings, Clippers, Raptors, Thunder, Timberwolves, and Nuggets. Herscu was Portland’s G League head coach and assistant coach for the Blazers and Kings. Ahearn was a Grizzlies assistant coach and San Antonio’s G League head coach.

The Denver Nuggets signed Trevon Brazile to a 4-year, $9.3 million deal, which includes the first two seasons fully guaranteed, league sources told @hoopshype. Brazile was the 35th pick of the 2026 NBA Draft out of Arkansas. He was acquired in a trade with the San Antonio Spurs.

The Golden State Warriors signed Charles Bassey to a one-year, $2.85 million deal, which is partially guaranteed for $1.4 million, league sources told @hoopshype. Bassey helps fill the void of Quinten Post, who recently signed with the Grizzlies. ESPN first reported an agreement.

The Golden State Warriors are hiring Frank Vogel as their lead assistant coach, league sources told @hoopshype. Vogel spent last season as an assistant coach with the Dallas Mavericks. Vogel won the 2020 NBA championship with the Los Angeles Lakers as their head coach.

The Minnesota Timberwolves signed Isaiah Evans to a four-year, $9.3 million deal, which includes three fully guaranteed years and a fourth-year team option, league sources told @hoopshype. Evans was the 33rd pick of the 2026 NBA Draft and was an All-ACC Team selection at Duke.

The Milwaukee Bucks and Gary Trent Jr. have agreed to a four-year, $64 million deal, league sources confirm. The deal is fully guaranteed with no options, I’m told. Klutch Sports Group CEO Rich Paul and agent Lucas Newton worked with Bucks officials on the deal. ESPN first.

JUST IN: The Denver Nuggets are waiving center Jonas Valanciunas, league sources told @hoopshype. He had a fully guaranteed $10 million decision today. Denver will now owe Valanciunas $2 million for the 2026-27 season. He’s averaged 12.8 points and 9.0 rebounds in 14 NBA seasons.

Khris Middleton signed a 3-year, $17.61 million deal. It’s fully guaranteed for the ‘26-27 season ($5.59 million), partially guaranteed for the ‘27-28 season ($909K guaranteed of $5.87 million), and non-guaranteed for the ‘28-29 season, as part of a sign-and-trade to the Wizards.

The Washington Wizards and Felix Okpara have agreed to a two-way contract, league sources told @hoopshype. Okpara was the 46th pick in the 2026 NBA Draft and was an SEC All-Defensive Team selection. He was acquired by the Wizards from the Orlando Magic in a trade on draft night.

The Houston Rockets signed Bruce Thornton to a four-year, $9.3 million deal, which includes one season fully guaranteed, league sources told @hoopshype. Thornton was the 31st pick of the 2026 NBA Draft and was a three-time All-Big Ten Team selection.

Trae Young has a 7.5% trade kicker in his four-year, $212 million deal with the Washington Wizards, league sources told @hoopshype. The agreement and Young having a fourth-year player option was first reported by ESPN.

Sources: The Boston Celtics signed Ron Harper Jr. to a four-year, $13.7 million deal, which includes the first two years fully guaranteed, a third-year non-guaranteed salary, and a fourth-year non-guaranteed team option. He gets above the minimum and $6.5 million guaranteed.
