Incidentally, that other social messaging app has a Tweetdeck-like program you can use to make your feed much more manageable. Losing that function here is what made me less likely to post, so I should be around the new place a bit more. So...be forewarned, I guess.

To say I'm disappointed by my fellow Americans this morning is a massive understatement. Our country voted to become less equitable, less free, and more unjust. I don't know what the next four years will look like, but it will be a hard slog for many of us...

I gained a ton of weight this summer, so I started intermittent fasting last week. My coworker found out about it on Thursday. Since then, she's dropped a Twix and a chocolate chocolate chip muffin on my desk each morning. I do not feel supported.

Injuries suck. Alex Kirilloff was one of the best #MNTwins prospects in decades. Extremely talented hitter with huge upside. But his first three MLB seasons ended with wrist/shoulder surgeries, and his fourth was ended by a back injury. Retiring before his 27th birthday. Damn.

#OTD in 1916, Leon Day was born in Alexandria, VA. Though he was an incredible pitcher, he also played the infield and outfield on off-days. He was considered to be Satchel Paige’s equal on the mound. Here’s an in-progress painting of him with the Newark Eagles in the early ‘40s.
