From what I understand, they researched the top facilities in every type of motorsport and took the best bits of each one for inspiration when designing Airspeed.

Super Taikyu Exhibition complete. Can't thank the people of Japan enough for embracing American Racing and welcoming us to their home. Really appreciate @23XIRacing and @ToyotaRacing for prepping the car and our team that came to Fuji to execute. It went so well that I'm sure we'll be back.

NASCAR Cup cars will be on track at Fuji Speedway at 9pm Eastern for their demo run during the @SuperTaikyu_STO finale.
Really cool to see them bringing Japanese and American racing cultures together.

Day 2 at Fuji. Got on track, put down a lap, lots of attention and it's not even race weekend. Gave Akio our gift - the steering wheel from the car today - and he handed everyone a very appropriate sticker.
