Robert has acted as a board member in our community to organizations such as Youth Services Bureau, Montford Hospital Foundation, the Ottawa Boys and Girls Club and La Coccinelle Child and Family Services. He has also played a pivotal role in fundraising for the Orleans Health Hub, now named in after Aline-Chrétien, the wife of our former Prime Minister, Jean Chrétien. The definition of bittersweet: As our family landed in Italy we got the news that my Mom suddenly passed away. She was supposed to begin chemotherapy for pancreatic and liver cancer but never made it. She joins my Dad at the big Costco in heaven. A private ceremony will be in Montreal in a few days.

It can be a cruel business. Two solid guys lost their jobs. Brian Morris and Chris Moore were let go from their media relations jobs with the Sens. They both faced many challenges during some of the franchises most turbulent times. Best of luck boys in whatever is next.

@GraemeNichols I did coach's stats for Jacques when he first joined the Senators. He was ahead of the time on analytics and the things he had us tracking an analyzing. Really great to see him back with the Senators.

Another thing to appreciate is how they have deftly modernized the org's operations while including bridges to its past.
