BREAKING NEWS: CARDANO IS OFFICIALLY IN THE QUALIFICATION STAGE FOR MASTERCARD’S GLOBAL CRYPTO PARTNER PROGRAM 😱😱😱 @phillip_pon says while Cardano wasn’t part of the initial 85 launch partners, @emurgo_io has been working behind the scenes with @Mastercard APAC team to change that. Cardano is now officially in the Qualification Stage for Mastercard’s Global Crypto Partner Program.

@btbfpark 100% agree. Governance is killing @Cardano. Most people are not mentally capable of making business decisions so they end up giving in to group think & bullying tactics. Charles forced this on the people & it was his biggest mistake. I would rather have a small governing group.

I want to share my honest feelings about Cardano as it is now. I have been part of the Cardano community since 2020, and I still have unwavering confidence in this technology and an almost fanatical passion for it. Back then, everyone was friendly and hopeful about Cardano’s future, and it was exciting and fun to dive into geeky technical conversations together. However, since governance was introduced and all votes are completely public, it has created an atmosphere where people hold each other in check and feel pressured to conform. Especially when it comes to treasury proposals involving money, there are not a few proposers who end up resenting those who vote in ways that are unfavorable to them. Personally, I hope that anyone asking for Cardano treasury funds will always remain gentlemanly and humble. Even if people have personal friendships, proposals still need to be judged rigorously and accurately. To be honest, I do not understand what the benefit is of a system in which stakeholders cast votes that are mutually advantageous to one another. That said, it is my hope that Cardano governance will become more advanced and fair.
