@GovKathyHochul every time a news organization reaches out for comment, we get a different number for the “made whole” DOH pot of money. Seems like a reasonable way to provide medical services for NY’s most vulnerable patients 🙄🙄.

@EvergreenHS has had #340B resources ripped away for 18 days now, without any plan at all from @GovKathyHochul or her DOH to fund critical safety net services to NY’s most underserved patients. Every day, underserved patients get less thanks to this discriminatory health policy.

This wouldn’t even be a concern right now. But I guess it was critical to rip these resources away from NY’s most vulnerable patients as soon as possible, so now this is where we are with some pieced together budget extender so safety net providers don’t cut critical services.

Source says the extender to keep the government running, which is expected to pass both houses, includes $9M in AIDS drug assistance. This is to offset the impact of the 340-b carveout changes that took effect April 1. With that exception, it’s a straight extender like last week.
