Luxemburg is sinds jaar en dag een belangrijke partner voor Nederland. We werken nauw samen op veel verschillende niveaus, waaronder binnen de Benelux, de EU en de NAVO. Ook zijn we eensgezind in onze volle steun aan Oekraïne. Vanmiddag had ik een prettige kennismaking met premier @LucFrieden. We spraken onder meer over de uitstekende relatie tussen onze landen, over onze niet-aflatende steun aan Oekraïne en over prioriteiten op de Europese agenda. 🇳🇱🤝🇱🇺

On this day in 1958, Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg signed the treaty establishing the Benelux Economic Union. 🇧🇪🇳🇱🇱🇺 It enabled free movement of goods, people and labor. An important step toward European cooperation and the future EU.

@OPCW ´s yearly Conference of States Parties. On top of the agenda are i.a. the destruction of the Assad era chemical weapons stocks in Syria, and the appointment of a new DG. @OPCW remains a crucial building block of the disarmement pillar of the multilateral rules-based order.
