Massive moments. • Russell carrying with the pass wide not on. • Ryan giving the attack life again. • Morgan & Genge with the crucial clean to keep it alive. • Gibson-Park recognising the chance • Keenan backing himself to score #AUSvLIO #Lions2025

That's because the British stormed the Gold and Sword beaches, with the Canadians at Juno Beach. Almost 770 RAF Lancaster bombers took part in the bombing of Dresden. Also, Great Britain & her Empire maintained the struggle alone (as the only major power) for a whole year. Without this, there could be no Allied victory. Whilst the victory was certainly dependent on all of the Big Three powers, let's not forget that Great Britain chose to fight on, rather seek an ignoble peace. The USSR & US, in contrast, were forced into the war by Barbarossa & Pearl Harbor. In a nutshell: Churchill, Great Britain, and her Empire, saved civilisation itself by continuing the struggle in 1940. Do shut your mouth.

For those throwing the mud, the truth is @cadan_murley scored a try, assisted another & made a try saving tackle, alongside other positive additions to Englands performance. He made a couple of mistakes, who doesn’t on their debut!! But overall, he should be proud, I hope he is

Dan Biggar very very good in studio. I don't think this is true of everyone, but recently retired or still playing players clearly have more insight than an ex-player who hasn't paid any attention to the game. Some ex-players pride themselves on staying up to date and are great.

@SamLStandsUp 💯 agree on Biggar. He seemed to fall in to the role almost effortlessly too. Made for it, and very fresh takes.

@afneil Lots of “we” and “us” paying in this post, for a guy that doesn’t live here… oh right, multiple properties in various countries. Got it.

@hizaga So true. “Tokyo trains are so clean compared to London!”. A lot of the time, yes… but… the pisshead comet is international. 😂

@RichyCraven Missed this the first time. What an amazing story. It would make a great short film or advert (except all regular M&S customers would probably curse you for getting everything so cheap!). Cheers for resharing

I very seldom see any westerners at my local supermarket. Today I did, a young, plump blonde. Being the friendly type I gave her the gaijin nod but just as I started to nod she had already started to blank me. Sorry for breaking your 和 🥲🤬

@dieworkwear Very good point. When I don’t feel attractive, I start to give up even on making an effort to dress how I actually want to feel (and there are many feelings). And it’s obvious what the result of that is, both aesthetically and emotionally.

Fashion—or style, if you prefer—is not always about looking attractive. It's about expression. The single most powerful thing you can do to improve your style is giving up on the idea that dressing well is just about looking attractive, rich, or successful. 🧵
Post hoc ergo propter hoc@is_brittle

Derek goes through this long, accurate thread, but still gets twisted someone points out certain body types are more attractive than others. The silhouette made by a fit guy wearing a dress shirt is light years better than that of an overweight guy. Time to cut the shit
