قوه قضاییه جمهوری اسلامی اعلام کرد که یعقوب کریمپور، شهروند اهل میاندوآب، و ناصر بکرزاده، زندانی ۲۵ ساله، به اتهام «همکاری با اسرائیل» اعدام شدند.
پیشتر منابع ایران به ایران اینترنشنال گفته بودند که حکم اعدام کریمپور در حالی صادر شده که او در تمامی مراحل بازجویی و رسیدگی قضایی، اتهامات وارده را رد کرده و گفته است اعترافات منتسب به او تحت اجبار و شکنجه اخذ شدهاند.
منابع آگاه گفته بودند کریمپور با تاکید بر این که هیچگونه همکاری با اسرائیل نداشته، ارسال هر گونه داده یا اطلاعات را تکذیب کرده است.
امیر رئیسیان، وکیل دادگستری، در خصوص ناصر بکرزاده در شبکه ایکس نوشته بود که ۳۰ فروردین شعبه ۳۹ دیوان عالی کشور درست برخلاف تصمیمات قبلی خود در «دوبار نقض حکم اعدام شعب بدوی» و بدون برطرف شدن ایرادات مدنظر خود، این بار، سومین حکم اعدام صادره از دادگاه انقلاب ارومیه را تایید کرده است.
