@dhmontgomery Is there a website that is providing data on the future projections of vaccine supply? Politician's projections seem to be out of line with the numbers.

At the current pace, it would take until October for Minnesota to vaccinate 80% of adults. That doesn’t contradict President Biden’s statement last night that every (adult) can get a shot by July — that would be based on a big INCREASE in supply in coming months.

A minor dip in Minnesota’s #COVID19 vaccination pace today — last Wednesday saw about 20,000 newly reported doses, while today was closer to 15K.

At the current pace, just over 30K doses/day, Minnesota would be able to fully vaccinate 80% of adults by sometime in August. At 40K/day, July. At 60K/day, May.

@CatRichert @MPRnews Much like lockdowns - mask mandates and the like are powers reserved to the states.

I just asked Walz that, given where the state is, whether he should have issued a mask mandate earlier: He said yes. But both he and Osterholm said it would have difficult no matter when it happened because of a lack of a federal mandate.

Why should we all have to pay for their governor’s fear and incompetence? If the business owners want to petition for help, that’s one thing- their governor & mayor failed them- but to hell with any infrastructure damage. That was preventable with capable leadership.
