@Zamani_WLK Pre colonial Yoruba trade was a sophisticated powerhouse under the Oyo Empire, our forefathers built vast networks across West Africa. Yoruba women dominated markets with real economic power. Colonialism shattered those roots. Yoruba needs to wake up!

@HOJ_Onuakalusi Your explanation is actually unnecessary. Just wait until after 2027 elections. Let’s see if you’ll be elected.

Dear constituents and Nigerians,
There have been deliberate attempts to spread false narratives suggesting that my aides are drawn from only one ethnic group and that I favour one ethnic bloc over others. I made it clear in my recent interview that these claims are completely untrue and do not reflect who I am, my values, or the way I have approached public service.
Leadership, to me, is about competence, commitment, loyalty, and the capacity to deliver results for the people, not ethnicity, religion, or other divisive considerations.
My team is made up of individuals from different backgrounds who have one thing in common: a shared commitment to serving our constituents effectively. I have never believed in politics of exclusion, and I will never reduce governance to ethnic calculations.
At a time when our nation needs unity, development, and issue-based politics, it is unfortunate that some individuals still resort to divisive propaganda in an attempt to distract from the real work being done.
I remain committed to representing every member of my constituency fairly and without bias.
My mandate is to all our people, regardless of ethnic background, religion, or political leaning.
Those who know my track record can attest that my focus has always been inclusive representation, people-centred policies, and creating opportunities that benefit everyone.
We must reject narratives designed to divide us and instead embrace the values that truly move our communities and nation forward: unity, fairness, competence, and progress.
Together, we will work for a new Nigeria

@Abdulofkwara I’m glad Ilorin remains a heterogeneous city. a true reflection of how unique and welcoming Yorubaland is! With the high thriving Ibo communities now calling Ilorin home too. I’m hoping the Ilorin Emirate will integrate the Ibos into the beautiful diversity for one united future.

@Incredible_Sola It’s high time to blend Yoruba ancestral knowledge with modern days innovation: Document, research, study, and enhance traditional wisdom using AI, genomics, and data science for breakthroughs in medicine, and sustainability. Yoruba knowledge must evolve, not extinct.
English

Yoruba ancestors knew of this concept centuries ago called "agedegbe meji aiye ati ọrun".
I'm asking again, how much of our ancestral knowledge was destroyed and bastardized by colonialism?

@MIKassim One thing I love about the Nupe people despite the massive impact of the Fulani jihad and the establishment of Bida Emirate, is that they have never for once claimed to be Fulani. They absorbed the Islamic reforms and yet stayed proudly Nupe in identity, language, and culture.
English

My lineage was around long before Fulani knew the way to Kano but somehow I have to add Fulani to my ethnicity 😂😂😂
Aisha Bello™ 🔻@Iamindo0
This is your case new Hausa generation wants to avoid… A lot of northerners, it because of people like you with identity crisis that people like me that can trace their hausa ancestry centuries back are being told that I can’t be Hausa I must have Fulani ancestry…. If we allow this to continue then our descendants can’t even claim to be indigenous Hausas, before you know it has become just a language
