Writing and Illustrating a children's book is hard stuff. But I have really enjoyed the journey so far. But in reality, my goal of finishing it last year wasn't even close. @rileyj_s I’d descope the work & make sure to communicate that to the client. I always scale my value & the originality of my work. Gives me flexibility when scoping pricing. Its important the client understands you’re making a choice on budget & not that you’re not worth your OG proposal.

You propose that a project is going to be $10k for 6 weeks of time. The client says that's over budget; they're willing to spend a max of $6.5k. How would you adjust the proposal?

@rileyj_s If you aren’t happy with the offers and can afford to not accept them, wait. But don’t be chasing the “hope” of another offer being better. Evaluate objectively.

I’m deeply grateful for all interviews. But an exhausting part (once you get to the point) is the decision to possibly accept an offer because you’re so tired of applying, or wait a little longer until a possible better role pops up that you have a possible chance for.

@davegerhardt For workouts; cycling, running, and I use a Gorilla Bow for strength training.

@davegerhardt I think you’re missing out on major benefits by keeping your workouts to 20-30min. What I learned is that if I forced it, I can usually 5 out of 7 days do an hour long workout and you’ll really reap benefits. Take a look at the Midlife Cyclist, great book on health benefits.

I'm looking to build a daily workout habit instead of trying to find time to train 3-5 days/week and spending hours in the gym. I also enjoy the mental, brain, thinking, mood, high, benefits of a workout, and don't want to only do that a few days a week. So instead...

@soren_iverson No icons, they aren’t providing any additional value. If you need them to distinguish from the UI behind the pop up, you need to adjust the pop up—perhaps increase the shadow.
