I can’t believe I’m writing this 😢my beautiful mum passed away on Monday morning peacefully.She was in her own home with me at her side.She was 97 and had battled dementia and other medical issues. I am heartbroken 💔 Will be taking a small break from social media…….

I have to admit that riding this scares me! Not for lack of experience or the ridiculous power on tap, but because I go out every time thinking that something will happen to make me question why on earth I am on the biggest and most powerful bike I've owned when, by rights,..1/2

@MikeRob66 Mike, your words are perfect. Next week, I’ll accomplish 50 years of riding too. Some new new riders think they’re invincible but some of them just don’t have safe-riding training.

I’ve been riding bikes for almost 50 years and in that time I’ve seen it all. Most of us ‘older’ bikers have built up valuable riding experience over the years. It’s the new inexperienced bikers that tend to think they’re invincible. Please watch out for us all. Thank you 🙏

@MikeRob66 Similarly, I’ve been riding for almost 58 years and would add - mainly for fellow motorcyclists given the state of our roads - to hang back allowing enough distance to dodge potholes that only become visible after a vehicle in front has gone over them. Obvious maybe these days!
