@evangoldin @samdman95 There are no red states where the population is > 51% rural. Even in KS and NE, 3/4ths the population lives in cities and suburbs. The EC is a way to tilt not toward ruralness, but whiteness.

Does anyone have any real pro-electoral college arguments? Everything I hear from conservatives is along the lines of “we can’t let California decide elections!!” which is based on the ridiculous presumption that disenfranchising the largest state in the country is a good thing.

@jeffreytumlin I love riding market when I’m safely surrounded by hundreds of people on bikes. What I fear is biking with my child after dark, only a few bikes on the street, and a revving, aggressive taxi driver breathing down our backs because we are blocking *his* street.
