Just went back and listened to my podcast episode w/ Jim Rutt. I realized that I misspoke around 21:40, when speaking of chirality, symmetry, and mirror imagery. Where I say “mirror symmetry”, I mean “mirror dissymmetry”. I at times invert concepts when speaking quickly 🧐

@berkun Doing good design work isn't safe, but it's safer than not doing it.

The frontier for design isn't in organizations that are great for designers right now. The important work is in organizations that have a long way to go. If you want to make a difference and you have choices go to where design is most needed, not where it's safest.

The random walk at the beginning of a new research project is as nervewracking as the testing of the hypothesis at the end ... asked "what do you think we will find", I can only answer "no idea".
