I am pleased to share that the paddle board and items associated with the Great Lakes crossings, have a new home at The Canadian Canoe Museum, where they will be used to educate on mental health, disability, teamwork and community.

When the Air Transport Security Authority confiscates your puppies pigs ear in the carrier while travelling, it is equivalent to throwing out a pacifier or a bottle of milk. Just so we are all clear.

My puppy made her first dog friend today. She was so curious with him and stayed by him the whole time. 🐾

First day of dog school for Spencer. I said to her ‘Don’t you dare embarrass me, I work in mental health, you can’t be a bully here.’ We managed to not get detention so I call that a win. She also met lots of new friends. 🐶

@MikeShoreman Many years ago, one of my beloved puppies was detained after class with a Scottie dog. The pair acted up when a stuffed squirrel was dragged in front of them. They were not going to stay in place. I wish you much luck! 😁🐾

I just realized that my company offers up to 3 days paid bereavement days for the loss of a pet. I don’t know if this is normal but it made my heart happy.

This was our first photo together in January when Spencer was 3 weeks old. I went to visit a few times before she came home so she wouldn’t be scared when she left. She was the smallest of 10 pups. She’s grown so much in the last 7 weeks.
