WOMAN DITCHES TRADITIONAL RENT. NOW LIVES FULL-TIME IN A HOTEL FOR JUST $307 A WEEK
That adds up to $1,228 a month. No lease. No deposit. No credit check. For that weekly payment, she gets everything included:
• Utilities
• Wi-Fi
• Trash service
• Mail delivered right to the hotel.
She’s been living this way for over 2.5 years. She gave a full tour of her room, complete with a stovetop, microwave, fridge, coffee maker, and everything she needs for everyday life.
Some people are calling it a genius housing hack.
Others say it proves how broken the rental market has become.
Would you live in a hotel if it were actually cheaper than an apartment?

@luckylimber807 @GamedayGarage @SportsCenter And you can. Even tho it’s against the rules he can just say it’s someone’s in his house. And how do they prove that?

@MikeSmith355 @GamedayGarage @SportsCenter On ESPN you can't, unless you're using multiple email account accounts obviously

@AmericaPapaBear He's yelling at the lady for reading HIS credit report. All he has to do is dispute the credit report with the three credit reporting agencies. No yelling. Just get your credit updated so the bad incidents are removed.

🚨 MCDONALD’S CUSTOMERS ARE LOSING IT OVER SURPRISE FEES — PEOPLE ARE CALLING IT “HIGHWAY ROBBERY”
People across Reddit, TikTok, Instagram, and X are all noticing the same thing.
You think you’re ordering something cheap from McDonalds on DoorDash or Uber Eats… and then checkout hits:
• Delivery fee
• Service fee
• “Small order fee” if you don’t spend enough
• Higher menu prices than in-store
• Tax + tip stacked on top
One viral example shows someone ordering basically just a drink using rewards… and the total jumps to nearly 5x the cost.
Another shows almost a third of the entire order is just fees.
And now people are connecting the dots:
The cheaper you try to order… the more they hit you with extra charges.
So what looks like a $5 meal quietly turns into something completely different by the end.
That’s why people are calling it “Highway robbery.”
These fees don’t just add cost… they push you to spend more just to avoid getting penalized.
So customers are getting hit with surprise fees… while the CEO is making $18 million a year?
