What if LeBron James took Michael Jordan’s place on the Bulls dynasty of the ’90s? 🤔
Would Chicago still dominate the decade and capture all six championships?
@MikeTerpsFan23@DaRealPhil8@iambearlee@BlacktopGoat_2K@TotalProSports@Hoopss Go watch today’s offensive and defensive game and how it operates compared to the 90s. There’s a reason players don’t play all 82 games, the average player today will run making agile movements in 1 game that a player would if they played 5 games. Delusional old heads
@DaRealPhil8@iambearlee@BlacktopGoat_2K@TotalProSports@Hoopss Despite not being as good of a shooter like he is now, he was still averaging 30ppg early in his career against harder defenses, he would be unstoppable with the 90s man to man defense
@TotalProSports I don't think ppl realize just how much of a physical marvel LBJ is. Prior to to his era, we would make up imaginary players. like what if you combine Magics passing, with MJ's athleticism and Karl Malones size? a decade later, that conglomerate became a reality
@TotalProSports LeBron’s game wouldn’t translate with the 90’s era! The best Bigs played in that era & they rim protected! LeBron needs space to operate bc he’s a terrible shooter & lay up merchant! The physicality would break him as well! Centers & PF’s didn’t camp out at the 3 point line!
@Raykay600@darrenrovell Per Nielsen:
By the early 1990s, approximately 60% of all American households had cable television. By the end of the decade, this figure soared to around 70% to 80% as cable officially overtook traditional broadcast network television in viewership.
At its height, 9.5 percent of the U.S. population was watching Knicks-Spurs.
To put in perspective, 26.1 percent of the U.S. population was watching Bulls-Jazz in 1998 at its height.
The Greatest Walkout in Sports History. I was watching live and literally got goosebumps. If you’re a patriot and the emotion didn’t well up inside you? Then the spectacular finish… My goodness! A night that should be remembered as an iconic culture moment in our nation’s history. Will we respond the way Justin Gaethje did?
Holy Cow! 🇺🇸
@Raykay600@darrenrovell You said there were no illegal services/streams …. When in fact there were …. And you could watch football basketball and baseball games through them that were not nationally televised games.
The SB and NBA finals were nationally televised. All playoff games were not.
@MikeTerpsFan23@darrenrovell nobody needed illegal streams for NBA games in 98 the NBA was only on two channels nbc and tnt, illegals streams were used for ppv events like boxing and wrestling, I used to have my father record wwf ppvs so I remember
@JettyBridgewatr@darrenrovell lol…. There was internet, WoW was about to drop (one of the biggest games of all time)…. And PS2 was on the verge of coming out. We aren’t talking 1958

@HenryBushnell You write for a sports publication. And yet you don’t know that every away team in every pro and college sport travels home after a game. Many cross-country. How did you get this job?
