@MikeTheGuard82@FootyAccums But it wasn’t though was it? Hearts needed only a draw. And they had it until the 88th minute. They even took the lead. Celtic had to win. Had work to do. The title wasn’t decided on that penalty incident. Hearts were 8 minutes away from the title and they blew it.
Wow...
The Scottish FA's Key Match Incidents (KMI) Panel has voted that VAR should NOT have awarded Celtic a penalty in their 3-2 win over Motherwell.
That last minute victory enabled them to take it to a final day title-decider, which saw them beat Hearts & win the title.
@MikeTheGuard82@FootyAccums You’re right. They’d be calling it out. The same way every other team does. Rangers do it week in week out sending in statements. Hearts have been crying about the game ending early all week only for the audio to confirm Derek McInnes was happy to end the game.
@MikeTheGuard82@FootyAccums The SFA aren’t against anyone. It’s just poor officiating and it happens to all teams throughout the league. Same with the West Ham goal being ruled out against Arsenal the other day. I guess that means Arsenals PL is tainted also?
@MikeTheGuard82@FootyAccums Not tarnished at all. There’s been plenty of VAR decisions that has gone in favour of Celtic and against and the same for Hearts. The Motherwell incident isn’t the reason lost the title. It’s that they didn’t perform when they needed to. Is arsenals title tarnished also?
@jarrenmckenna@the_joe_marotta@ovppodcast Only from his original full time run. He called the gimmick battle royal with Gene at X-Seven then did the Hall of Famer rollcall and a backstage segment with Gene, Moolah and Mae at XX
@KAE1967@FootyAccums Are saying if it'd been the other way round Celtic fans wouldn't be going mental and screaming corruption? Come on now, they've been claiming refs and the SFA are against them for years. Like it or not your league win is now tarnished
@secretlyaheel@WWENostalgia_ It's nowhere near as popular as it was, that's not even in doubt. Just because it makes more money doesn't make it better.
@WWENostalgia_ Proof that the doom and gloom over wrestling being "dead" isnt limited to the internet. Funny how everyone knows movies are scripted yet they still net millions of dollars. Kayfabe being over hurt the business, sure, but I think we're far enough along now to know it didnt kill it
@TheSun no idea what actually happened…
but, why does every cyclist in london think it’s ok to run red lights? why do they think the law doesn’t apply to them?
cyclists on roads should be treated the same as cars. they need licence plates.
@KAE1967@The_Forty_Four He's not looking to chest anything, he's backing in looking for a penalty and I'd say exactly the same if it was Joe. Remember mate I don't/didn't have a horse in the race. I've got no reason to be biased against Celtic
@MikeTheGuard82@The_Forty_Four No chance. So players don’t have a right to try and chest the ball down anymore in the box without being wiped? You’d be raging if that was done to Joe Ironside in the box.
@KAE1967@The_Forty_Four It's not what's focused on when the whistle blows though (for the most part) but with the OF it's seemingly more of the focus than the football
@MikeTheGuard82@The_Forty_Four Politics is everywhere in football whether people like it or not. Clubs are formed on politics. Without politics there wouldn’t be all these clubs. You’ll never get rid of politics from football.
@KAE1967@The_Forty_Four I'm sorry mate but the keepers done nothing wrong there. He's jumped for the ball and Maeda's backed in knowing full well he'll get caught, looking for a pen
@KAE1967@The_Forty_Four Even so. It's football. Leave the arguments about IRELAND away from SCOTTISH FOOTBALL matches! The two subjects have nothing to do with each other. Politics also have no place in football
@MikeTheGuard82@The_Forty_Four It’s not about religion as much but peoples nationalities. Rangers didn’t sign a catholic player till 1988. There’s Celtic and Rangers fans who both Catholic and Protestant.
@KAE1967@The_Forty_Four If a player is backing into a goalkeeper how can the keeper claim the ball without touching the player? You'd then have to penalise the attacker for impeding (obstruction in old money)
@MikeTheGuard82@The_Forty_Four Yeah I get that but again, it’s still a penalty. You have to get the ball before wiping someone out. You can’t take out a player and then take the ball.
@MikeTheGuard82@The_Forty_Four Yeah. But that happens in every league with ultras. Jesus. You hear it with Milwall and West Ham. You hear it with Chester and Wrexham. Happens in every country. That’s what rivalry is. Happens with us against Wrexham and Oldham. Just not as big as there’s no as many fans.
@KAE1967@The_Forty_Four I don't follow Scottish football with any detail or intetest mate but you always hear of shit being caused by both sides of the OF
