you are right on - the 18 and 19 are great withoot red meat.

Following up on the prior post- I tried the Silver Oak Alexander valley 2018 tonight-also excellent-( bought at HEB 20% off on cabs sale) so 2018 and 2019 are both very good- red meat not necessary to enjoy. #txlege #cabernet #wine #winelovers

So many of us are proud of @GoldmanCraig being elected and sworn in to the U.S. Congress last Friday. Even before Craig was sworn in, he was rewarded as one of the few freshmen on an A Committee (meaning very prestigious) Energy and Commerce. A large number of friends and supporters were with him for that very cool swearing - in day. One of the more unique occurrences during our time with Craig in D.C. was the tour guide who walked us all around the Capitol and talked about all the paintings and monuments in our beautiful Capitol (including on the House floor). That tour guide was none other than Craig's political mentor and good friend, U.S. Senator Phil Gramm who served honorably and impressively in the U.S. Congress from the great State of Texas for 33 years. What a great tour guide to remember such a momentous occasion. #txlege

To those professing to be Christians- What is a CINO? In church, a friend & I were discussing the coming #txlege session. The conversation gravitated toward those who profess to be Christians, yet in words and deeds, they act opposite the Gospel. Mark 7:6 says "Isaiah was right in his prophesy of hypocrites... These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me." The great commandment is- "Love your neighbor as yourself" (Matthew 19:19). Luke 6:27 goes futher by saying-" Love your enemies". All of us who follow Christ need to decide: to follow the above commands in all our words and deeds or be hypocrites. I earnestly looked for an exception for politics and found none. Therefore a new acronym arises-CINO - Christian In Name Only. #txlege
