We'll be in the stands a good bit this summer to watch our son Stephen and his teammates take the field for the Johnstown @Mill_Rats!

A family milestone with Andrew graduating cum laude from @NotreDame last weekend. He'll be heading to Chicago this July for a position with @WilliamBlair. Well done, @Turzai11!

Our son Stephen is focused, disciplined and earning great results on the baseball diamond. We're so proud of you buddy! ⚾️

Matthew Turzai has a 4.5 GPA while being a talented musician & 🏊🏼‍♂️ for @NATigerAthletic & on T&F team. Earning 3 Team WPIAL 🥇& 5 medals in WPIAL 🏊🏼‍♂️. Matthew is a member of GOAL, NHS, TigerThon & Boy Scouts; planning to attend Notre Dame f/ engineering & enter Naval ROTC program.

Mike was a supporter, an ally, and great friend. I feel his loss deeply today, and know that for Angela and their three children, Addison, Claire and Michael Eric, he leaves a void that can never be replaced. They have our love, prayers and support.

I will remember him as the dad who coached his children’s teams, stepped away meetings to call Angela, and of course that high school quarterback that I heard about before we met.

Lidia and I are heartbroken to learn the news of the passing of our dear friend and my former colleague, Majority Caucus Chairman, Representative Mike Reese. Mike leaves behind a beautiful family and a legacy of energetic public service.

Governor/General Thornburgh was my first political role model. He remains the gold standard for public service to which we should all aspire. He loved all things Pennsylvania and baseball. I’m grateful for his service to our nation & Commonwealth. Thinking of Mrs. T & family.

He was a man of deep faith and principle who lived a life of compassion toward everyone—especially the most vulnerable. He was a person who exhibited civility and decency who I was honored to know.

I’m deeply saddened by the loss of a mentor and friend. Governor Thornburgh was a statesman who I looked to as a role model. He was a principled Republican who persuaded ideological and political opposites to deliver results...

Pennsylvania has not allowed an abortion based on the sex of the baby since 1989, when the state enacted a provision which has not been challenged in any court. Why then would we allow an abortion because of a Down syndrome diagnosis? These babies deserve a chance at life.
