It was great to see my buddy Paul Batres at our show last night. Paul’s a great drummer who used to run San Jose Pro Drum where I taught for years. I don’t get to see hin much since he moved down to SoCal. Hope to cross paths again soon, my friend.

I get asked a lot about what I play at the end of Eyes of a Stranger. Theses licks are actually the first thing I played when it was presented to me in 2006. They are licks that I had been working on. As with most first ideas, it was the most musical to me, so they stuck.
