Thanks for the nice replies. I've been on Twitter since 2009 and it's always been part of how I put my work out, participate in debates and exchange with readers. I think it's important to do so but some days there is just so much toxic nonsense it makes it unpleasant.

Some days I wonder why I bother on this site.

This week, I met my teacher candidates in my two courses – Outdoor Education and Foundations III. We had a lot of fun connecting and creating an environment for amazing learning. This is the final term for these students as they look forward to their journey in education. #OT_FED

Four images from the final day of my adventure. The weather was perfect. The scenery incredibly beautiful and the heather glorious. I’m so fortunate to have enjoyed this amazing three month experience.

It was a lot of fun to kick off the Nature TRek (Therapeutic Recreation) program at the @AbilitiesCentre. Finding north, map reading, and nature games were enjoyed by both participants and staff. Nature is the best therapy.

@smalltown_wife Her hockey stick. She’s 19 months old, and she tried to carry it with her to bed. (Her dad is a hockey player and we’re at the rink a lot). She’s taken to grabbing it over her head and yelling HOCKEY. 🏒 She pushed it in her stroller alongside her baby doll today.

tell me about the most unhinged object your toddler has developed an emotional attachment to. my 1yo has been carrying around a milk carton (empty) for 24 hours 😂

I got what I wanted today: some time alone to run. I kid, I kid, taking the baby toddler to the park and hearing her squeal with delight on the swings was the highlight. This was a nice end to the day, however.

Ran a 5K in the rain this morning and it felt good! I shaved several minutes off my time and beat my goal. I’m pretty proud of how far I’ve come, even though I’m still on the long slow road of rebuilding after childbirth. #runchat

All packed and excited to be ready for my one thousand mile expedition beginning tomorrow. “The Four Corners” - a walk to the four cardinal points of mainland Scotland, beginning at the Mull of Galloway.

It's another wrap. It was a pleasure to teach the Outdoor Pursuits students at Sinclair S.S. in Whitby. In addition to their high school credits, they earned a Field Studies credit from #FlemingCollege. #DDSB #outdoorlearning
