@p_kittel @TravisBOUND Declining enrollment in the schools and the schools are already in one building. It's been a strange set up for years where they play each other for homecoming. Attendance is currently determined by birthdate. I coached there for 12 years.

This will be very interesting to follow on just how this works out. - How will coaching roles be determined? - What will the name/mascot/colors be? - What conference will they end up in long-term? Currently they're in the Glacier Trails, but with the new school having a combined enrollment of 1700-1800, that's not a good fit against Kewaskum, Kettle Moraine Lutheran, & others who are under 1000. North Shore? - How successful will the new singular school be in athletics? - How many players will transfer due to increased competition and loss of opportunities? - Certainly understand why they are doing it, but it will roughly cut in half the number of playing and roster opportunities for student-athletes in the West Bend district.

@baseballinpix I got his autograph on a Blue Jays card when they played the Brewers...being a young, foolish kid I threw it away...

Danny Ainge with the Blue Jays. He played for the Blue Jays from 1979 to 1981, appearing in 211 games. Ainge was the only high school player ever named a first-team All-American in football, basketball, and baseball. After a legal battle between the Blue Jays and the Boston Celtics, he was bought out of his baseball contract to pursue a career in the NBA.
