There is a chicken and egg scenario of you needing publication to get a pass,but a pass helps with publication.

@icelandcricket @ICC I cannot agree more. Imagine if they asked me to umpire the world cup in the middle of my current training programme. I have meetings and tutorials almost every day of the competition. Not to mention bigger bats, smaller boundaries and fielding restrictions = tired umpires arms!!

Based on tests yesterday, our Board considers the ice on our city pond to be currently too thin for a game of ice cricket. We sometimes care about our players' welfare and Reykjavík is not St. Moritz.
