New filing at Companies House seems to suggest Elland Road Stadium is NOT 100% owned by 49ers I suspect Radz still owns 49% and I suspect will not sell until we are back in the EPL and its value increases.

@KieranMaguire I wonder if this is an indication of where Radz sees his future after 49ers takeover completes? If I were him, I'd have rôles lined up before lawyers complete their current work, leaving me with no LUFC control but financial gain now & for the next few seasons Interesting 🤔

@insignia1974 @hazelgrave_paul @FollowMeAndLUFC If I was committed to spending huge money on a stadium I'd want to own much more than 29% of it... maybe they do, or will soon, but if they don't increase their % soon then maybe they don't see a financial future for #ER Just me musing ! 🤔

Will the 49ers be happy with an almost 50,000 capacity ground with poor out of hours use or will they opt for a 21st century stadium with a better financial return? As expected, the previous Confirmation Statement for #lufc has been corrected. Furthermore, as guessed, the unexplained shares are under 49ers ultimate control through their third Venture Capital american-based fund.

@bielsa_FC @hazelgrave_paul @FollowMeAndLUFC No idea, but it appears some lawyers are active tidying up the previous shoddy filings to Companies House. You might wonder what those lawyers are being paid to do? 🤷‍♂️

@timmoslufc These filings are late & should have been made a long time ago There is an indication that this sale was made 2 years ago but hidden from fans; 49ers have always been unwilling to talk about their ownership of the ground I don't know why 🤷‍♂️ Why have #lufc revealed it now?

@MattyBrault The cash for this doesn't go directly to the club, or at all. It basically goes to Radz, so he then can then choose to whether to bank it or put it into his other companies or maybe #lufc. Would he put it into #lufc if he is easing himself out? Dunno 🤷‍♂️

@Mike_J_Thornton So for us financially illiterate people, are we taking this as Radz sold off some of the shared in ER to the 49ers which has freed up the funds for transfers? Or am I reading this all wrong? 😂

@LUFCInc There are two separate companies There's the club #lufc which can play anywhere the owner of THAT company decides; 44% owned by 49ers There's a different company that owns the stadium; was 22% for 49ers but now 29% IMHO development of stadium won't be until 49ers have more %🤷‍♂️

@hazelgrave_paul @FollowMeAndLUFC 44% is for the club but the stadium is separate... these images refer to the company that owns the land and ground #lufc play at. 49ers now officially own 29% and have a modicum of control of it... why would they spend cash developing a stadium that belongs to someone else?

@TerryCoburn @Mike_J_Thornton As I understand it the 49ers Enterprises bought a further 7% (now 29%) of the stadium as they increased their stake in the club to 44%. The filings and paperwork will follow accordingly I’m told. #lufc

Change in the ownership of Elland Road Stadium becomes public.... Radrizzani sold some of his personal shares last May to someone unspecified. Moves from 78% ownership to more than 50%.

@simonpinkney An Asset of Community Value only activates if the ownership change is with Vacant Possession.... ie if LUFC are moved to a new stadium, at that pont the AOCV beneficiaries get to buy the empty stadium.

@Mike_J_Thornton I recall Elland Road being registered as asset of community value. Can’t recall the exact terminology but remember LUST needed to be notified if it was going to be sold. Something like that? Is that place and does it actually make a difference of AR is selling?

@TerryCoburn @apopey Ah, you have read the 7th March 2022 filing of the 2021 Confirmation Statement.... that Statement was cancelled and replaced with a corrected Confirmation Statement on 28th April 2022.

@TerryCoburn @apopey The filings say 22%. If 49ers owned more than 25% in 2021 then that would have to be in the filings also.
